Wayzgoose Kitsap announces first annual CREATIVE KITSAP Awards! Nominations due Sept. 5th

Bremerton, Washington - This year, Wayzgoose Kitsap is honored to present the first annual Creative Kitsap Awards. 

Join us in amplifying the stories, creativity and dedication of those working to promote access to the arts in Kitsap, spread the joy of creativity and connection, and deepen our collective understanding of the power of art to transform lives. 

This year there are 3 categories, and we hope to expand on this list future with input from the community. 

• Greatest Impact as an Arts TEACHER – Honoring an educator whose dedication to teaching the arts has inspired creativity, learning, and growth in our community.

• Greatest Contribution to PUBLIC ART – Recognizing an individual or group whose work has enriched Kitsap’s public spaces with art that sparks connection, conversation, and pride.

• Greatest Impact as an Arts BENEFACTOR – Celebrating a supporter whose generosity has expanded access to the arts and helped sustain a thriving creative community.

Nominations are due by Sept. 5th. 

Wayzgoose Kitsap will be honoring award recipients as part of our Amplifying Creative Voices fundraising night, Friday, October 3, 2025. Join us for an exciting evening of celebrating the ARTS in Kitsap and beyond. This in-person gathering will be held at Rice Fergus Miller, Inc. Get ready to be inspired by local creatives, connect with like-minded individuals, and support your favorite arts nonprofit. Tickets available for purchase online.
